Congratulations to California State University on the construction of the new Student Union building at CSUMB!
Designed and built by Gilbane in partnership with HGA, the new three-level facility serves as the main circulation point between the transportation hub and the center of campus, and houses activity and retail spaces and meeting rooms among others.
Despite numerous challenges and delays brought on by nearby wildfires and the pandemic, through collaboration and coordination the project team managed to overcome these obstacles and deliver a truly transformational project for the campus.
