BuildOUT California would like to thank California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) President Marybel Batjer for her years of service to all Californians as she announced, today, in a letter to CPUC staff that she will be resigning from that post in December of 2021. Her tenure was not to expire until 2027.
"Since her appointment by Governor Newsom in 2019 President Batjer has overseen a multitude of challenging issues that the Golden State has experienced" stated BuildOUT California's President, Paul Pendergast.
"From wildfires that have displaced thousands of Californians, to an ever-changing utility sector, to the on-going process of the LGBTBE goal setting process we thank her for her tireless efforts" he added.
