It was an incredibly positive/upbeat day in San Luis Obispo on Thursday, February 2, 2023 when BuildOUT California joined over 50 General Contractors, CM Firms and Specialty Contractors for Cal Poly’s Construction Management Career Fair. BuildOUT Founders Paul Pendergast and Vigor Lam met with students in construction-related majors preparing for graduation who are looking to land that perfect ‘first job’ after commencement. Also – they met many students looking for internships where they can apply their skills and build relationships.
In the afternoon we met with the organizers of the A&E Career Fair (which had over 100 participating firms) to plan our next Cal Poly AEC Career/Intern Fair participation. Special thanks to Vigor Lam (Jacobs) for his project management skills in making BOC’s participation happen. Also – Cal Poly’s Darrin Matthews, M.ED., CPPO, CPSM, CPP, Michelle Chariton, CEM, Rachell Smith, CCCE Program Manager.
